Reliability from Surveillance to Court Room
Metts Investigations has conducted thousands of surveillance investigations since establishment in 1992 by the owner, Jeff Metts. Metts Investigations provides investigative services for Worker's Compensation claims, other insurance claims, as well as domestic, civil, and criminal investigations.
In addition to civil clients, we have provided service to the Federal Bureau of Investigation and South Carolina Law Enforcement Division. Metts Investigations has also been a featured speaker on the topic of surveillance at Workers' Compensation seminars sponsored by the South Carolina Occupational Safety Commission.
Jeff Metts founded Metts Investigations in 1992 after serving as an investigator with other agencies. His vision was to develop a team of investigators that could meet the fundamental needs of clients. Investigators are chosen and retained based upon ability to communicate, covertly
observe, accurately report, and to testify should a case proceed to court.
Metts Investigations is licensed (SLED License #1600), bonded and insured. Our reports and video documentation are so outstanding that cases seldom proceed to court. In the few instances that our investigators have had to testify, their testimony has always withstood scrutiny.
Metts Investigations is highly qualified in surveillance techniques using state of the art technology. We have used up to four GPS tracking units at a time. This allows for
real-time and historical reporting of location, speed, and direction of vehicles. We also employ covert, low-light, wireless video recording devices, as well as van-mounted periscope cameras.
